Having driven not one but two completely different trains in the last week it is time to dash off one last blog post before turning 40 (i am reliably informed i was born in time for the six o’clock news so i consider myself 39 for a few more hours!)
So a new career as a train driver beckons having driven a big beast – a Class 50, 50031 Hood no less, down the Severn Valley Railway, followed in the week by a smaller beast, Hydrogen Hero our BCRRE IMechE Railway Challenge loco engine powered by hydrogen fuel cell at Rail Live 2018.
Many thanks to everyone sending birthday wishes, you are all too kind. Now i just need to go and find some more trains to drive – i am hoping that certain people reading this will let me come and drive the 50s on the Severn Valley Railway more often (hint hint hint….!!!) 😉
